Beautiful colonial city with good food. Although it is a nice place to visit if you are doing a road trip, I don’t recommend spending more than 3 days here. It is also really close to Mexico City so you can think about doing a day trip to Puebla.

What to do

The best thing to do is to walk around the city and enjoy its characteristic architecture. Visit the cathedral, the Cholula pyramid, the Museo Nacional del Barroco. Go to the local markets to see some of the handcrafts.

How to get around

Parking is hard in the city so our advice is to always to walk or move in an Uber.

What to eat

Mole, chiles en nogada, chalupas, cemitas, pelonas, tacos árabes.
